May 11, 2010

From the 2 of us to 3 to one on the way makes 4!!
Were expecting!!
A little one is on the way!! We had no ideal. We are our happy and nervous at the same time. I didn't think we would have one this soon. Cameron got his way. He has been wanting one since we got married!
I am still in shock but I always wanted to be a Mom.
My little baby is due on May 11, 2010 this is special to Cam and I because Cam's birthday is May 11 and mine is June 11 and were 11 months apart! 11 is our lucky number. Even if he/she doesn't arrive on the 11th is okay just to think of the odds of the first expected due date to be May 11.
We can't wait to go to our first ultrasound next month to hear the heartbeat!!!
The Molifua's are growing!!
Cameron, Audrey, Siva, And Baby Molifua!!

catching up with Jackie....

My best friend is Jackie. We have been friends since middle school. We cheered together all the way through high school. Since we got out of high school we got closer than we had ever been and have remained that way ever since. Jackie recently moved to North Carolina about a year ago to pursue her Nursing degree and her fiance lives there. I have missed her so much.

The last year both of our lives have been so busy with new and exciting life changing Moments. We don't talk as much as we use to but try to make it a goal of talking 2x a month and when we get to talking we usually talk for two hours or more.

Well tonight was one of those nights. We talked and talked and laughed so hard. This conversation was different because we started talking about high school days and found ourselves saying "remember when...." It was so fun and made me realize I have so many stories and memories with her. Tonight was a great night to go back down memory lane especially with my best friend Jackie!!!

end to "hell week"

Weber state O-line 2009
Cameron in action (just look for the hair)

US

The 1st week of August Cam had to report to "Hell week" for 2wks and I was left alone. This was my fist time every being alone and especially out her in Utah. I was really proud that I made it through the 2wks just fine. I did miss Cam alot but I adjusted.

I shopped a lot for little things for our house, got some wedding pictures printed and filled empty frames around the house, and cut coupons of course my new obsession.

We ended camp with Cams football game and a BBQ we had at our place. I was a little nervous because i wanted to be a good host and have lotsa of good food.

We bought our first BBQ grill and I made potato salad for the first time. Which Cam said it was great. So all in all it wasn't much of a "hell week" for me at all!!!

The newest member of the Aiga (family)...

The Molifua's

Miss. Siva Molifua
We got our first puppy!! Her name is "Siva". Cameron Named her that and it just stuck to her. We have been talking about getting a puppy for awhile and more so since Cam's football schedule has picked up and he is gone a lot more and I'm alone more. Cameron has always had is heart set on getting a blue nose pit for the longest and I just wanted a puppy.

I have been checking KSL.com out her and I was falling in love with the Boxer pups I was seeing . but they were just way out of our budget so were the Pitbulls. I had seen this ad about a month ago about blue nose Pitbull pups for sale $500 and there was about 9 pups they were selling. As I continued to check the ads daily I notice this ad was going down in price. As I saw it going down I told Cam and he emailed the owner last week to see if we could see pictures of the parents and how legit the pups were.

Well we forgot about the email and yesterday Cam and I were talking about him being gone for the next 2 weekends in a row for football and how I hated being alone and wish I had a puppy but knew we could not afford it. Well Cameron put on his "Husband thinking Cap" lol and went on Ksl.com to search again. He then checked his email and saw the owner responed and the price dropped dramtically because he only had 3 left and was in need of getting rid of them fast. Cam called the guy and left message. We both were still thinking this is too good to be true.

We went about our day and ran errands as we returned home it crossed my mind to check the house phone to see if we had a missed called and we did!!! Cam called the owner back and he had 2 boys and girl left. but one of the boys was the pick of the liter and he couldn't go any less for it. Which we didn't care to have the "pick of the liter". We went down to look at them and we had talked about getting the boy.

As soon as I saw the two we had to pick from we both fell in Love with the girl. Cam picked her up first and said right away I want her and the little boy didn't do it for us. So we brought our new Puppy home and we have had so much fun with her. I love her so much and she is such a snuggler!!! Thank you Cameron you made my day! Ever since we brought her home I have no free time and I'm loving it!!!

Sad story...

I talk to my Mom everyday day at least 2x's a day and we just talk about our days and what we are up to. Well My little brother's football season has started back up my Mom is pretty busy with it Mon-Friday after work that is where she will be. This will be my Mom's 4th year out there with some of the same parents and new ones.

My Mom was telling me this Story last night and it made me so sad. My mom was talking to a mother whos' son is on the team. She was telling my Mother she was a single mother and this was the first year she could afford to save up money for her son to play football this year. she says it so hard for her to get him to practice because of her work. She is a city bus driver and told him that most of the time he will have to take the city bus to get to practice and home from so she bought him a pass. She said her son didn't want to because he was embarrass and would have to leave an hour early to practice and get home hour late from practice. But she told her son sorry but this was the only way it would work if wanted to get to practice. So this little boy who is 10 yrs old wants to play football so bad that he takes the bus to and from practice.

I think about my brother who is 10 and can't imagine sending him on a city bus. Not that anything is wrong with a city bus but I just think 10 yrs old is way too young. I have never been a city bus and can only imagine how scared and embarrssed that little boy is.

But I also think and say wow this little boy loves football so much that he just bites the bullet and gets on the bus. He could cry and say no and just not play football but no he just does what has to get the joy of playing football. What an amazing person!!

I know we all bite the bullet some time in our life but at 10 yrs old and having life to be so tough?? At 10 I was running around and not even thinking or knowing how good I had it.

By the end of the story my Mom had me in tears and I told what can we do for them and she said "Audrey I already did, I told her since I was able to that I could take him home everyday from practice!" My Mom said she was yes in tears when this Mother told her the story. My Mother said she could feel her pain and her struggle to try and provide for her son as my Mother is too a single Mother.

I look back on my childhood and as me and my sister were growing up we had 2 parents in the household and never knew how it was to go grow up without a parent or see one parent struggle to provide for us.

My parents divorced when My little brother was 5 and me and my sisiter we 18 and 23yrs old. I have to say we don't talk to our dad often nor does he really have anything to do with us besides pay my Mother a check every month. But I have to say my little brother is so blessed to have 2 sisters and so much family who are so willing to help my Mother out with him. My Grandma is helping my Mother out with getting my brother to practice eveyday. I love my Mother with all my heart and my family who has always been there for us no matter what. I am turly Blessed to have the Mother I have and my family.

Next time I complain to my Husband about our living situations, bills, or what we might not have..... I'll the think of the little boy who goes through hoops just to enjoy something he likes!!!

Coupons....

Cameron came home last night from camp to stay the night and we planned to go grocery shooping in the morning. So we got to bed pretty late last night and set our alram for 9 am because I had to be at work at 1 in the afternoon.

Meanwhile the last couple of weeks I have been looking forward to Sunday's and getting the paper just for the coupons. I always hear about thoses people who save big time off of there bill and I was detemine to get some major savings.

We went to the store and Cameron was getting inpatient because I had all these coupons and he just wanted to shop and grab whatever he thought looked good. I told him my goal was to get $20 off of the bill in coupons and it would be worth it if he just followed my footsteps. So he agreed and when we checked out my total dollar amount off the bill in coupons was $14.73. Cameron was so proud of me and excited. I was so happy because I had been organized with the coupons and it paid off. I didn't meet my goal of $20 dollars. But hey I was amazed for being a first time coupon user and the results I got.

So now I'm addicted to coupons!! I'm always looking for ways to save! Especially when your husband goes to college full time and is always hungry....haha

Wedding pics!

I finally have posted some wedding pictures. I love looking through all of them it takes me back down memory lane with Cameron on thinking of when we first met, our first kiss, the first time he told me he loved me, the many plane rides to Utah to see him, football, and the wedding planning. It feels like yesterday when we were making plans for wedding, moving into our place, and just talking about how we would be as husband and wife finally!
I have to say being married is a beautiful thing. It's nice at the end of the day it all just comes down to us.

Trip back home

Our trip back home was awsome! It felt so good just be home. Cameron and I hit up some must have resturants like Alberto's and L&L..... we pigged out for sure. One of the first things I did was go straight to the beach and went swimming. It was so much fun. I just went with my sister, brother, grandma, Aunt Sharon and Jaker.....We had a blast and then it was just nice to go out to eat afterwards to Pizza Port and catch up with them.

Later that night Cam went to visit his family and I hung out with mine. It was like old times when I wasn't married. I miss my family so much. but there was a little part of me missing something. my husband. Around 8pm that night I called my husband and told him I missed him and he said he was just about to call me to tell me he was on his way home! God I love that man!!

On saturday night our wonderful friends had a get together for us. It was fun just like old times. Laughing the night away and cracking jokes. I also got meet my co workers (Veronica& Tommy) baby Joslyn Naveh....she was so sweet....I just couldn't stop holding her.

On Sunday we hung out with my Mom and she helped us get new tires on the back of the car because on our trip down there out tire ripped.....oh boy was that a story of it's own.

On Monday we packed our car with the rest of the wedding gifts and crap I had to take up with us. That took us about 3 hours to pack the car to the rim. It was like putting a puzzle together to fit in the car. We then went to visit Amber and George and our little Ati girl!!! Omg She is so grown now. Crawling and talking. Hopefully soon Ati will have a new cousin to play with!!

But all in all our trip was wonderful and I miss my family dearly!!!
